WikiMediaWatch, May 2009

Here's the deal:

I work on Wikimedia (including, but not limited to Wikipedia) a lot, volunteer not paid work, sadly. But I thought it would be fun to make a monthly wiki/magazine/blog thing, with news, discussion, images, & links to cool stuff across wikimedia's projects. I'm going to start with a blank page every month, & just keep adding stuff for that month; I'll try to update daily, but I'm not making any promises I can't keep. When the month changes, I'll start a new page, & the old one will be in the "archives" @ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Lx_121/WikiMediaWatch.

The first edition is up (May 2009).

I'm still figuring this out, so hopefully each month's edition will improve.

I NEED CONTRIBUTORS!

If you have any ideas, suggestions, stuff you want to contribute, whatever; or, if you would like to join as a regular member of the working group for this project, get in touch. Leaving mewssages on either the WMW talk page, or my user talkpage is probably the best way to reach me; I won't be checking in her very much/very often, except to update the monthly link to WMW.

Hope you like this; or at least find something of worth in the idea, or on the month's pages...
